This was, hand's down, one of the best shows that I have been to in a solid while. Somehow, someone was able to record of bunch of their songs (I was too busy in the front) and put them on youtube. Here they are, while they last.

FUCK YOU
Happy Friday, everyone! I am struggggggggggggggggling today since one of my best friends came into town and we decided to play rally/quafflepong (you start with a bounce, like quarters into a cup, then run to the middle and flip cup, and then beer pong and then rotate) late last night for a wedding tomorrow night.
In any case, here's a song for all of the haters!

More OK GO! (White Knuckles)
OK GO!'s music is decent enough for me to listen to, but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase. That being said, their videos are always innovative and enjoyable to watch. That is especially true when they incorporate dogs and do it all in one take. Very impressive.
Well done, OK GO!. Well done.

A Compilation of Close Calls
Wow...
A lot of these people should immediately go buy a lotto ticket. Or stop being so retarded.
(Sorry for the shitty music)

Wandering Eye
Happy Friday everyone! I'm back from vacation and bringing back some new good tunes for ya!
This is a new band that I have recently been introduced to. Fat Freddy's Drop is a group of seven that hails from Wellington, New Zealand. Improvisation, live and in the studio, has been the basis for Fat Freddy’s Drop's music since the beginning of their career. The band's Wikipedia page is actually a very good read, if you're interested, about their history and discography.
On to the music!

VACATION!
I couldn't be happier to be posting this right now. I'm going on vacation with my lovely girlfriend tomorrow and it coudln't be coming at a better time. We will see where the road takes us.
In the meantime (while I'm gone), here is the new Kings of Leon video for "Radioactive." This is shaping to be one of my most anticipated albums to close out the year. Enjoy!
Also, since it is football season and I love The Simpsons, here is an NFL Season Preview, relating to characters from the show:

And, finally, this is one of my favorite things ever. It's the aM Laboratory. You go and make beats and waste time. Amazing. Simple. Check it out.

Have a great time...I know I will be!

Ghosts in the Hallow
Jim Lo Scalzo is a new artist that I just discovered...well, about five minutes ago. For a first impression, consider me blown away.
A little background on Mr. Lo Scalzo, from Blue Eyes Magazine: "Jim Lo Scalzo, a Washington, D.C. native, has been a staff photographer with U.S. News & World Report since 1994. He has had assignments in more than sixty countries and won numerous awards in the Pictures of the Year International and White House News Photographers' Association photo competitions. His memoir, Evidence of my Existence, was published in October 2007 by Ohio University Press."
This video posted below is one of the most beautiful videos that I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. I went to college in Western PA, right outside of Pittsburgh, which is a place littered with relics of coal production. The remnants of an entire industry that flourished and now ceases to exist is so interesting and eery to me. I view this video as a look into a life that I don't know and don't fully understand. It's fascinating to take a peek into a life unknown while looking at what has been left behind.

Parkour: Practice Makes Perfect...or Hurts Really Badly
Sure, Parkour is an amazing display of athleticism and talent. But, practice makes perfect and in practicing, people get hurt.

Catch Me If You Can
Happy upcoming long weekend, everyone. I'm really looking forward to having extra time to plan out something spontaneous. There will be alcohol involved and hopefully some sand and waves. I think I'm also going to try and squeeze in some tubing, but we'll see. I don't want to overexert myself.
However, this holiday does, for all intents and purposes, mark the end of the summer. I feel as if this summer sprinted passed all of us like it owed someone money. I am truly looking forward to Fall with the crisp weather, changing colors, and football. But, let's take a moment and remember the Summer b/c once the first snow fall comes, I certainly will miss it.
Here is a song that feels summery to me. Outasight, "Catch Me If You Can."

Fast Food Advertising vs Real Fast Food
I'm sure that most people are cognisant of the fact that fast food advertising lies to its customers on a daily basis. The food is never as healthy, tasty, or delicious as they advertise. Nor does anyone have this much fun eating at McDonald's. And while I'm not going to say that I hate or don't eat fast food at times, I had no idea that the advertising was this egrecious. Have a look.
