Seriously...how was this a good idea? I often question how a lot of ideas get past the people in charge (i.e. this suggestive Yogi the Bear poster), but wow...this one is right up there at the top.
Ayds — an appetite suppressant candy — enjoyed strong sales for much of the 1970s and 80s, until — alas — that other AIDS came along. At that point, the Campana Company decided to change the name to Diet Ayds.
That obviously didn't work.
And here is a bonus commercial!

Make Your Own Four Loko!
Upset about the impending Four Loko ban from the FDA? Well, now you can make your own!
This looks even more gross than regular Four Loko.
Another reason not to drink Four Loko? B/c apparently it clouds your judgment and could possibly trick you into thinking you should make some music.

Assemblyman Felix Ortiz Vomits Four Loko, for the Children
I like Four Loko. Ha, I think it's fun. But, I'm also an adult (most of the time) and able to know when to stop and not to pound a bunch of them and then drive a vehicle.
Via NYMAG:
Despite a very public Four Loko crusade by Senator Chuck Schumer, the FDA, and even the White House, Assemblyman Felix Ortiz just didn't know whether kids really understood that Four Loko is bad for you. So he sacrificed his time, and his body, to prove how damaging it can be. With NBC News cameras recording it for posterity, and a doctor measuring his vital signs every fifteen minutes, Ortiz downed two and a half 23.5-ounce cans of Four Loko in one hour. The results? He was drunk, obviously! His blood pressure and heartbeat increased, and then he threw up (off camera, sadly). So now we know that drinking the equivalent of ten beers in an hour will mess you up. Thanks for the enlightenment, Assemblyman.

Bristol Palin & The Situation Make an Abstinence PSA
Yes, really.
Let alone the fact that The Situation has never found something he wouldn't have sex with, I can't get over Bristol Palin making an abstinence PSA.
Also...could you imagine having to take a drink everytime someone says the word "Situation?"

Stop Trying to Dance in the Street
Doing the Dougie in the middle of the road isn't a good idea.
Especially when you literally just walked to the road from a perfectly quiet street.

Katy Perry on Sesame Street
Well...I don't see how this would be appropriate for Sesame Street. But, at least she is only famous b/c she is an amazing musician. The only reason.

*EDIT:
So apparently this is actually a response to her being criticised about wearing a...eh, somewhat lowcut top on Sesame Street. SNL Clip. It's fairly funny, but at least she can make fun of herself.
Here's the original Sesame Street segment that was pulled. I really don't see anything wrong with this. Maya Rudolph said it best: "character also jokingly came to Katy’s defence saying: "Who cares if kids are looking at boobs, all right? Boobs feed babies"

Fast Food Advertising vs Real Fast Food
I'm sure that most people are cognisant of the fact that fast food advertising lies to its customers on a daily basis. The food is never as healthy, tasty, or delicious as they advertise. Nor does anyone have this much fun eating at McDonald's. And while I'm not going to say that I hate or don't eat fast food at times, I had no idea that the advertising was this egrecious. Have a look.

Is That Dog...a Tiger? Those Crazy Chinese!
China has granted us many a craze over here in the States: anime, video games, yellow fever, and delicious food among others. But, not every idea can be a winner nor am I entirely sure that I want to see this new fad take off. The latest out of China has dogs being dyed to look like other animals. The idea of dog dyeing isn't exactly new in the land of Yao Ming. Stories began coming out in the last few years about a new trend in China in which people had their dogs dyed in multicolored, neon patterns. Frankly, this was strange enough for me, but some pet owners decided to take things up a notch. You want a pet tiger or panda, but have concerns about their natural wild animal instincts? Well, China has a solution for you!
(As always, click to expand)

I have to admit, the puppys that look like pandas are clearly adorable. And, let's be honest, this isn't the worst thing that China does to dogs. However, I do have concerns about lead-based paint being used, which could easily seep in through the skin or mouth. Also, in terms of a more abstract thought, I have concerns over the dog's psyche b/c let's face it, this is absolutely ridiculous. But, it's not like China has cornered the market on people doing things to embarass their dogs.

Strangest Wedding First Dance. Ever.
What the shit were these people thinking? What were the guests thinking?
Nothing says romance like dressing up like a pirate and fighting a bunch of ninjas.

Reporter Breaks the Ice
I would be less than enthralled.
No big deal. He had only been working on the sculpture for 8 hours.
"We'll take care of it."

Epic Failures of Album Covers
I really enjoy finding a theme for the pictures I post every Tuesday, as opposed to just throwing a bunch of random ones on up. For today's picture post, I chose to go ahead with horribly amazing album covers.Seriously, what were any of these people thinking? Literally...how were ANY of these a good idea? ANY!
As always, click to expand the full awesomeness of these horrible album covers.

Cool As Ice
I challenge you to watch this video and not laugh...for the entire time.I have never seen this movie, but how could it have possibly made any sense? Vanilla Ice, which feels ridiculous to even type, appears to interrupt a standard 80's romantic comedy. The whole time I'm watching it, I can't help but wonder what in the hell he is doing. Seriously, why are there clips of him just dancing while the couple is driving home? His head has a brick wall on it. His clothing looks like it lost a fight to a band of highlighters. Doesn't he have any friends? If so, how did they let him do ANY of this?
This movie simply should have been called Bad Decisions.
